Kate Baldwin: Extraordinary Machine

...directed with ingenuity by Robbie Rozelle... Baldwin demonstrated her ability to emit pure authenticity in blending musical theatre with other musical forms.

Join Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin (Big Fish, Giant, John & Jen, Finian’s Rainbow, Songbird) in an evening of songs and stories, as she candidly and comically deconstructs the façade of being a Broadway star, mother, and Midwest ingénue turned New Jersey suburbanite.  Featuring an eclectic mix of Broadway, indie pop, folk, and country melodies from such artists as Fiona Apple, Ingrid Michaelson, and Elvis Costello, Baldwin promises to pull no punches in a show that is both unexpected and unencumbered. With musical direction by Kris Kukul (Songbird), a seven-piece band, three back-up singers and special guest Matt Doyle, you’ll discover another side of the artist The New York Times hails as “the redheaded firecracker” who delivers “sophistication and sincerity,” with what Variety calls “an agreeably feisty manner.”

Special Guest: Matt Doyle

Written and Directed by Robbie Rozelle
Musical Direction by Kris Kukul

He’s Broadway’s diva whisperer... I’ll say it!

Baldwin is a KNOCKOUT in her new show Extraordinary Machine... what really makes her concert extraordinary are the stories she shares in between tunes.
