54 Sings The Second Barbra Streisand Album celebrates the extraordinary storytelling and artistic daring of Barbra Streisand’s groundbreaking early work. With her second album, Streisand redefined song interpretation, shaping each lyric with dramatic precision, emotional intelligence, and unmistakable theatrical flair. An ensemble of Broadway and cabaret performers revisits beloved selections including “Lover, Come Back to Me,” “When the Sun Comes Out,” and “Any Place I Hang My Hat Is Home,” alongside rarely heard cut songs from the album and music from her early nightclub days, all featuring original arrangements and musical direction by Michael Cuschieri. Directed by Joey Rodriguez, the evening honors the craftsmanship and Broadway-rooted sensibility that transformed standards into signature statements.
